The Night Owl
A dark, retro speakeasy and dance club just off Caroline Street. DJs spin late, the cocktails are worth ordering, and the floor fills up after midnight.
Belmont Stakes Day
The main event. The 158th running of the $2M Belmont Stakes caps seven stakes races, with fashion photos, caricatures, drink specials and a packed backyard. This is why everyone is in town.
Belmont Toast the Turn
A 21+ beer garden tented along the Clubhouse turn rail. Your ticket covers track admission, two drinks, food trucks, lawn games and wagering terminals. The liveliest spot trackside.
The Belmont Ball
The dressed-up gala of Belmont week. A cocktail dinner with dancing "under the stars" that benefits local equine charities. Tickets in advance.
Trackside Craft Beverage Sampling
Free samples of New York craft drinks and the Belmont Jewel and Saratoga Sunrise cocktails at bars around the track, noon to 4pm each festival day. An easy way to toast between races. 21+.
Sinclair Saratoga
One of the newer spots downtown, pulling a 21 to 35 crowd. Half dance club, half arcade and cornhole bar, with neon-pink lights and DJs. Saturday nights are the move.
Saratoga City Tavern
Five floors on Caroline Street. The 4th-floor Boom Boom Room is the real club, with a DJ, a center 360 bar and a dancefloor running pop and techno. Rooftop deck up top. Go Saturday.
Gaffney's
A corner institution at Caroline and Putnam. Live music on the patio, a dancefloor in the darker indoor bar, and a mixed crowd that keeps it going late. Saturdays are busiest.
Desperate Annie's
The Caroline Street dive everyone ends up at. Starts slow with a pool table and a jukebox, then gets loud and packed as the night goes. No frills, lots of history.

Ketel One Botanicals Spritz Bar
Free Ketel One spritz at the AC Hotel from 5pm to 7pm.
Cooperstown Distillery
A downtown tasting lounge and bar on Broadway pouring craft cocktails and spirit flights from the Cooperstown Distillery, plus a shop to take bottles home.

Bocage Champagne Bar
A small champagne and sparkling-wine bar downtown. Order the Belmont Jewel and toast the day.

Pint Sized
A small craft beer and cider bar on Phila Street. Short, well-picked tap list and an easygoing local crowd.
Wasabi Sushi
Sushi rolls and Japanese small plates in a clean, modern room. A lighter option for dinner with the group.

Bearly Dead at Putnam Place
A high-energy Grateful Dead tribute at Putnam Place on Belmont Stakes night. Bearly Dead plays a full concert-style set across the band's catalog. Good for a post-race jam.
Putnam Place
Saratoga's main live-music venue and nightclub, 450 capacity, right downtown. Concerts and DJ sets all Belmont week, a short walk from Broadway.
Roosevelt Baths and Spa
Soak in the historic carbonated mineral baths inside Saratoga Spa State Park. The water and a massage are a good way to recover after a day at the track. Book ahead, slots go fast.

The Medberry Day Spa
Massages, mineral baths and sauna steams, or book the full spa package if you want to go all out.
